Solicitor Tim Hallam joined the Planning, Environmental & Public Law Department of Howard Kennedy in March 2008. He carries out planning, highways, environmental and public work.
Tim joined from Westminster City Council, where he was senior planning solicitor working on a wide range of complex planning, highways and public legal work. Whilst at Westminster, Tim dealt with a number of high profile, complex matters including the s.106 Agreement and related Judicial Review challenge concerning Park House, Oxford Street and the s.106 Agreement for the new London Clinic Cancer Centre. He also led on redevelopment proposals for the listed Marshall Street Baths site in Soho and regularly advised the Planning Committees.
Tim’s previous experience includes working in-house at the London Borough of Merton and six years in private practice, acting for commercial as well as public sector clients. He has previously acted for several London Boroughs, including Southwark, Lambeth and Wandsworth, and for Milton Keynes Council.
