Solicitor Scott Goldstein trained and qualified in the city before moving to Howard Kennedy in 2005. He has extensive experience dealing with all aspects of property litigation, and regularly advises clients in relation to disputes over both commercial and residential premises. Scott’s specific experience includes acting for landlords and tenants in relation to business lease renewals, possession proceedings, service charge disputes and dilapidations claims, as well as advising freehold clients regarding rights of way and light disputes. Scott successfully acted for the landlord in the case of Business Environment Bow Lane Limited v Deanwater Estates Limited, which was a landmark Court of Appeal judgement concerning whether pre-contract statements made by a tenant formed part of a lease. Scott is a member of the PLA.
